Mayor's Diary. Page 1.

Dear Diary, for a long time I have wished to visit Ireland. It is a unique country with its own spirit, unmatched by any other. There is much our city could learn from it!

My first stop is the Wonderful Barm, a building with a very intriguing purpose. There are several of them in Ireland, but this one is the most renowned.

I am eager to see what Ireland has to offer1

My seach for extraordinary locales has led me to Newgrange.

Surprisingly, while I was preparing for this trip, I discovered that Ireland's history has certain precise dates when mystical creatures are said to appear. Can you image that?

I wonder what the real purpose of Newgrange was when it was built. I suppose we will never truly know, as it is a secret veiled by its age of 5,200 years.

Time for something really mystical! The Giant's Causeway.

One might say that it is just geological formation from volcanic eruption. But look at it! Polyginal columns of basalt and perfect horizontal sections. If it's done by nature alone, it is one of the masterpieces!

Can one truly have an Irish adventure without castles? I think not.

Castle of Eloquence is an authentic medieval stronghold, clearly built by some very talented people. Not many castles from this era survived to this day.

Dear Diary, I am amazed by Doctor's Abbey. Such grandeur is befitting of a mayor, a monrach, or at the very least, a princess.

Surrounded by the beauty of nature, it is a place where gifted musicians would write music and writers would craft their best novels. There is something special about this place!

My last stop is the Rock of Cashel, also known as Cashel of Kings and St. Patrick's Rock. It's older than Castle of Eloquence.

In this place you can feel the history. It permeates every stone, every corner, imparting the feeling of ages passing.

Our city deserves more castles and history. It is fortunate that we have the opportunity to build such marvels in a modern city and see how it boost whole neighborhood with its glory!
