Fitzland is set to celebrate its 37th National Day on August 21, marking more than three decades since the nation’s birth in 1988 under the leadership of Rodolfo Lockhart. The day commemorates the historic moment when the island, first developed by founder Torcuator Lockhart, became officially known as Fitzland — a name symbolizing the enduring legacy and lineage of its people.
This year’s theme, “Legacy of Unity, Future of Sustainability,” reflects both the country’s storied past and its vision for a greener and more prosperous future. Prime Minister’s Office officials say the day’s events will showcase Fitzland’s rich cultural heritage, its modern defense capabilities, and its commitment to sustainable development.
The Ministry of Transportation has announced that all public transportation will be free throughout the day to encourage citizens to take part in the nationwide festivities. Celebrations will be broadcast live across television, radio, and online platforms, ensuring that the citizens at home and abroad can join in the moment.
