FRTS network strengthens nationwide connectivity and supports the future of integrated transport across Fitzland

Fitzland has officially launched its newest generation of trains and inaugurated the Fitzland Rapid Transit System (FRTS), marking a major milestone in the country’s transportation modernization efforts. Owned and operated by the Fitzland Rapid Transit System, the newly opened rail network is designed to support faster and more efficient travel across the regions of Fitzland while helping ease the growing passenger demand currently experienced by the Fitzland Metropolitan Rapid Transit (FMRT) and the Fitzland Skytrain (FSKT) systems. Officials described the launch as a key step toward creating a fully interconnected national transportation network under Fitzland Masterplan 2030.

Beyond passenger mobility, the FRTS will also play a vital role in strengthening the country’s logistics and supply chain infrastructure. Dedicated freight rail services will transport import and export goods, industrial materials, and raw resources between ports, logistics hubs, and Fitzland's regions, significantly reducing the need for large container trucks on national highways. Authorities stated that this shift is expected to help decongest road traffic, improve delivery efficiency, and reduce long-term transportation emissions. Together with FMRT and FSKT, the FRTS now forms the backbone of Fitzland’s expanding rail transport ecosystem.

Unlike the FMRT’s fully electric rolling stock and the Skytrain’s hybrid electric and maglev systems, the FRTS introduces a more diverse fleet tailored for different travel and cargo requirements. The trains include dedicated coaches for economy and first-class passengers, long-distance sleeper cabins, and specialized freight wagons designed for cargo and industrial transport. Rail connections between the FMRT, FSKT, and FRTS networks have also been integrated to allow smoother transfers and improved travel efficiency nationwide. In support of the new system, regional FRTS headquarters and service centers have also opened across the country, providing ticketing, reservations, freight coordination, and customer support services for both passengers and businesses.

FRTS Rolling Stocks and Locomotives

A defining feature of the Fitzland Rapid Transit System (FRTS) is the flexibility and modular design of its rolling stock and locomotives. Unlike traditional rail systems with fixed train configurations, FRTS trains are fully customizable and can be reconfigured depending on passenger demand, seasonal travel patterns, or cargo requirements. For example, the Llama Line 350, which currently operates with three economy-class passenger cars, can be modified to include first-class seating, sleeper coaches, or even freight wagons for product transport when needed. Operators may also increase or reduce the number of cars attached to each locomotive, allowing the system to remain scalable, efficient, and adaptable to the nation’s evolving transportation demands.

E5 Rolling Sim – E5 Series Shinkansen

The E5 Super Sim is a premium high-speed train designed exclusively for first-class travel. It currently operates with two luxury passenger cars focused on comfort, speed, and executive-class service.

Flying Sim – Flying Scotsman

Flying Sim is an economy-class passenger train built for efficient regional and intercity travel. It currently carries three economy-class passenger cars designed for high-capacity daily commuting.

Llama Line 350 – EMD E-series

The Llama Line 350 is a flexible passenger locomotive primarily configured for economy-class operations. It currently operates with three economy-class cars but can be reconfigured depending on passenger demand and operational requirements.

LM Grade 23 – A4/Mallard

LM Grade 23 is a large-capacity passenger train designed for reliable long-distance travel across Fitzland. It currently carries four economy-class passenger cars focused on affordability and efficiency.

Magnificent Mayor – 583 Series

Magnificent Mayor is a dedicated freight locomotive specializing in the transport of raw goods and industrial materials. It currently operates with four cargo cars supporting logistics and supply chain operations nationwide.

Northwest Railways – Union Pacific Big Boy

Northwest Railways is a mixed-service long-distance train offering economy, first-class, and sleeper accommodations in a single journey. Its current configuration includes two economy cars, two first-class cars, and one sleeper coach for overnight travel.

Quill Railroad OP1 – Pennsylvania Railroad GG1

Quill Railroad OP1 is a heavy freight locomotive designed for transporting construction materials and finished industrial products. It currently operates with four freight cars supporting national infrastructure and commercial distribution.

SC Line 9001 – Siemens Velaro

SC Line 9001 is a dual-purpose freight train designed to transport both raw materials and finished construction products. It currently carries two cargo cars for raw goods and two cargo cars for construction and finished materials.

Sim Rail Grade 00 – InterCity 125

Sim Rail Grade 00 is a balanced passenger train offering both economy and first-class travel options. It currently operates with two economy-class cars and two first-class passenger cars for flexible intercity service.

Simeo Plus B – Alstom Coradia

Simeo Plus B is a dedicated sleeper train designed for comfortable overnight journeys across Fitzland. It currently carries three sleeper coaches equipped for long-distance travel and extended passenger comfort.
