The Fitzland Police Force traces its origins back to the 1920s, when it was first formed under the leadership of Mayor Cho as a small team dedicated to maintaining peace and order in the growing community. With limited manpower but strong commitment, the unit ensured law and order in the early settlements of Fitzland, serving as the foundation of modern policing on the island.
During the 1930s, under the leadership of Torcuator Lockhart, the force was reorganized into specialized teams focusing on policing, community engagement, crime prevention, and investigation. This structure allowed the police to operate more effectively and responsively. During World War II, the Fitzland Police Force became the island’s only line of defense during the Japanese occupation. Many officers bravely resisted, with some losing their lives or surrendering to prevent further civilian casualties.
The force underwent significant expansion in 1988 during Rodolfo Lockhart’s leadership, coinciding with the founding of Fitzland. It was during this period that the institution was formally recognized as the Fitzland Police Force, cementing its role as the country’s national and principal law enforcement agency. Today, the Fitzland Police Force operates under the Ministry of Home Affairs and is accountable to the Parliament of Fitzland, continuing its mission to safeguard the people, enforce the law, and protect the nation.
